With close to four decades in practice, Yacoub Qassar is a leading Arabic legal expert known for his work in commercial disputes, banking transactions, financial agreements, and complex corporate matters.
With nearly 40 years in legal practice in the UAE and Jordan, Yacoub brings a great wealth of experience, including 12 years as the Head of the Legal Department at Invest Bank in Jordan.
He is an expert Arabic lawyer and drafter with extensive knowledge across the entire spectrum of Al Jallaf’s work. Yacoub has a deep understanding of commercial transactions and banking practices, enabling him to offer practical as well as legally sound advice.
His areas of expertise include commercial litigation, loans and other financial agreements, financial structuring, corporate insolvency, project work, and regulatory compliance.

- Acted on behalf of a multinational oil and gas company in a case of fraud and breach of contract across multiple jurisdictions, including the enforcement of a foreign arbitral award in the UAE
